Chef Josh Wright’s deep appreciation for all things food was developed at a young age growing up in Southern Ontario and running around his Great Uncle's vegetable farm. He began cooking at 16, before leaving home to attend Niagara Culinary Institute in 2001. Following formal schooling, he began his apprenticeship in 4 Diamond CAA/AAA kitchens of The Vintage Hotels Group in 2003 under Chef Andrew Dymond.

Following his apprenticeship he has worked across Canada, with Delta Hotels, Marriott International, and several boutique hotels as well as cooking at the James Beard House in Manhattan. Prior to taking the role at Bar Mason, Josh was the Operational Support Resource for all Marriott International Hotel Culinary Operations in Canada.

Josh’s return to Southern Ontario and the great local produce and purveyors that Ontario has to offer will be showcased at Bar Mason. He looks to bring “Simple, Fun, and Local” to all aspects of the hotel.

When not driving the kitchen at Bar Mason and Delta Guelph, he enjoys spending time with his Fiancée and Family, and continuing to travel and find the great local spot to eat where no one else knows about.

Christine is the kind of person you would love to meet! No, not because of her incredible, second to none abilities in the kitchen. Abilities that include a passion for molecular gastronomy and the ingenuity to properly butcher most proteins (just not Bambi). No, it's not because she is an affectionate mother who is likely one of the only people to keep up with her energetic son on the playground. It's not even because of the unique story surrounding how she got in to cooking (ask her about it sometime). It is because, even with all these amazing qualities, she is down to earth, humble and sincerely hard working. Come and see what a culinary passion tastes like!

Steve is the personification of old school bartender with new school technique. This proud father's classic qualities pay homage to the art of bartending that can only be refined with his 25 years’ experience in the industry. This self-proclaimed ping pong champion of the world is ready to defend his title against all challengers. Come have a top shelf drink with this top shelf ‘tender.

“ Not all who wander are lost.” Natalie is the definition of a happy traveler. She has been all around this great country; working in Banff, Jasper and Vancouver. She has also travelled the world; working in both England and Australia. Nat enjoys all that is outdoors; including snowboarding, swimming and football.

Working in a craft brewery has helped to enhance Nat’s pallet for artisan beers. She is more than willing to talk shop with anyone who shares a passion for pints.
